Our Story

Hey friend! My name is Carly and I am the mama behind Brooklyn Grace. Thank you for being here! My little family and I appreciate it so much! I don't know about you, but the "why" behind anything always makes me feel a bit more connected so I would love to share with you the "why" behind our brand and the name Brooklyn Grace. Again, thank you so much for being here! 

It was the summer of 2019, 6 months after we got married. We were driving and I suddenly had the urge to  ask my husband  if he had any baby names he liked. If you know him, this question kind of freaked him out. He said he hadn't given it much thought, but always loved the name Brooklyn. About 15 seconds later we were at stop light and it just so happened to be Brooklyn Street. We smiled at each other and knew that if we had a baby girl one day, her name would be Brooklyn.

Three months later, I found out I was pregnant. We chose to not find out the gender but if it was a girl, we decided Grace would be her middle name – for the grace of God – and because Grace Bay is the beach we met on in Turks and Caicos in 2012.

11.5 weeks into the pregnancy, heartbreak hit– I experienced a miscarriage. Despite not knowing the gender of our sweet baby, the name Brooklyn Grace gave us hope.

Just 9 months later, we were blessed with our rainbow baby boy, our little man, Cayden Patterson Dell. Cayden means “ great fighter” and he is everything we didn’t know we needed!

Our dream is that Brooklyn Grace provides hope and joy to everyone’s story. Whether you're announcing the arrival of your little one or telling your family and friends you are expecting, Brooklyn Grace will be there to lovingly be a part of it with you.
